“Larson - a skillful soloist”

Lale Larson on the latest Owe Thörnqvist CD!

The non-Swedish readers probably don’t know anything about Owe. But for everyone in Sweden he’s an institution in the entertainment business. Owe has been around since the early ’50s, writing many of the most well-known and most recorded songs the last four and a half decades.

This album is straight blues-rock with some interesting musicians doing the comping. I play all the piano and hammond organ parts on his latest release “Recovered”. Among the other musicians we have: Benny Jansson (XSavior), Anders Johansson (Malmsteen, Hammerfall), Per Stadin (Silver Mountain) and guests such as: John Holm, Svante Thuresson, Jalle Lorensson and Peps Persson. Bass and Drum days in Stockholm

November 3rd, 2005 in News | Comments disabled

Hello everyone,

The Bass n Drum festival in Stockholm was a great event. It was a pleasure to play with Jonas Reingold and Marcus Liliequist and it was a blast to hang out and meet all the other great musicians there. I heard that the whole event will be released on a double DVD sometime next year, so stay tuned.

Thanks again to all of you who attended the festival and all the great people working behind this great event.
