Three awarded Helsingborg artists

I will perform my own compositions and improvise my own versions of popular songs at The Dunker Culture center, Helsingborg, Sweden on the 1st of September. On this concert cellist Pia Enbom will also play Bach and percussionist Daniel Kåse will play a piece by Per Nörgård. All three of us have received the Helsingborg culture award at one time, and that’s the theme of the concert. The concert will be presented by Per Nyren The concert starts at 19:30. Free entrance on behalf of the City of Helsingborg.

Pianisten och kompositören Lalle Larsson berättar om en av sina favorittonsättare, Conlon Nancarrow, vars musik kännetecknas av en stor rytmisk komplexitet. Musikproducent Per Nyren ger en bild av Harry Partch, som uppfann nya instrument och skalor fått förverkliga sina visioner.
